Stock turbo alky tune maps....

Can you guys post your ver 2 maps with pump gas + alky on the stock turbo? Interested to see your timing and fuel tables.

I looked at shiv's "how to make a meth map" thread, but hell, even his pump gas only fuel table is pulling out more fuel than my race gas table.(tuned by Andrew)

Im wanting to run about 25psi dropping to 22psi on pump plus alky, on a zeroed timing table.....

Also, anyone using the SMC alky kit care to share what their knobs are set to?

Thanks guys,

Jeff

i have a map that shiv tuned for water/alky on the aquamist system last may. timing was not zero'd but slightly more aggressive than the custom 92 map.

Mapping depends on how you have those control knobs set on the methanol controller box as well as the size of the jet used. So there's no real way for me to post up a methanol map which would be appropriate. Building a good map is very simple. Just yank out fuel from the MAF table until you see an AFR of 11.5-11.8:1. Don't be surprised if you take 5-8 points of fuel away in the MAF table. Then you can start backing out the ignition retard in the timing table, a bit by bit, until you run into knock retard activity. You will come awfully close to having zeros in the timing table by the time you are done. Without SMART, this can only be done on a dyno.

With the SMART upgrade, you can view knock activity and do this ourself on the road.

Cheers,
shiv
