On my Stage 1+ I used to run 93 Octane gas and I would see a peak of 23 psi, dropping off to ~19 psi by redline. The stock turbo will generally not hold boost all the way to redline.

Hi I think my problem is that I am hitting like 23psi but cant hold it because of my stock DV could that be a problem because like I said I can hit 23psi but then drops it to like 17-18 psi and then slowly claims up to 19ish psi .

You think that is normal hitting 23psi before 4000rpm and holding it for a sec. then drops to 17psi and slowly comes back up to 19psi and btw. that happens only in 3rd gears and higher not in 1st and 2

You might have a boost leak somewhere. Replacing your DV is probably a good idea.

Mine does the same thing. I think its normal for most. I'm gonna try the JDM MR valve and see if that helps any. I would like to be able to hold more consistent boost 'till redline.

Question

I installed the MR DV and now Im overboosting even more than my stock plastic dv. Any one have any ideas why? I just have the reflash. Then after I installed a TBE and K&N dropin filter.

Before it would only go past about 1/8th of an inch past 1.5 not its more like a 1/4 inch. Im afraid to redline. I might blow something up.
