Question Is a Dyno tune Recommended before getting S.M.A.R.T.?

Just wondering if it is advisable, mandatory, or if the dyno-gains are negated because the SMART system will squeeze out the gains that the dyno would. If this has been discussed elsewhere, I apologize, just toss me a yes or no!

Custom is always best, but as time goes on, people will be trading maps and using solid baseline maps all over the place. Shiv is in the process of building up a new database of SMART maps for all of the most commom modifications on Evos.

Yes, you will want a custom tune, since the SMART system works off the baseline tune. So the better your base map, the better (smarter?) SMART will be.
