ok last dumb question, is the LED output on the xede already resisted? dont need a 12v LED or any resistors or any other weird stuff? anyone know the exact output on the xede?

 

Unsure of the output but no resistor needed for mine.

Yes, you need to let the SMART maps load. Are you saying you can't handle waiting 3 seconds before cranking the car?

Hey maybe it could be used as an anti-theft device.. the XEDE should be programmed to not allow the car to start unless it has had enough time to load up the maps.. when the theves jump in and try to hit the starter it wont start. heh.

 

Yes I am saying that is very lame.
To me that may be a back breaker.

 

You'd spend all that time cranking away at the car if it were running an AMS anyhow. Its really not a big deal. You put the key in the on position, then you put on your seatbelt and get yourself situated, and 2-3 seconds will have passed.

 

 

Don't think of it as waiting to crank the engine. Think of it as a moment of silence for the other tuning solutions.

Old folks want to drive a modified car, that doesn't drive like a modified car...

I have a love hate relationship with my Xede...
