How many miles should you have before Stg. 1+?

Decided to go with a Vishnu Stage1+, cash is in hand--only problem is that my car is brand spankin new. About an hour ago I finished breaking the motor in properly (shifted before 4500rpm, no heavy load, no more than 1/3-1/2 throttle for the first 600 miles).

Question is--how many miles should I wait before taking the car into get it tuned? 5K? 10K? Doesn't matter?

I upped to stage 1 at 5K miles, no problems, but you should be alright. Personally I'd wait until 1K miles and do an oil change along with the upgrade.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm in SJ, so I'm geographically pretty close to Vishnu and it looks like I'll be visiting him soon. Anyone know what time they open on Mon. Morning?
