If the XEDE cannot handle timing advance that is a damn shame.....every other ECU vendor is adding timing when on C16 or alchy/meth.

When you take out 20-25% in a race gas or methanol map, fuel, timing gets advanced passively. This is why you will rarely see positive numbers in the timing table. In fact, you often see small negative numbers to properly "shape" the new timing map. If you hook up an OBD-2 reader and view timing advance and compare a pump gas map to a higher boost race gas map, you'll see an extra 3-5 deg of timing. Not to mention 2-3 less degrees of retard in the actual XEDE map.

what odb-2 reader can do such tricks? what is the xede table scaled to? as in, what does -1 in the xede table mean in real timing degrees?

-1 in the xede timing tables means 1 degree of retard over the stock timing number. Any reasonably good obd-2 reader can read basic data (rpm, maf, calc load tps, short term and long term fuel trims, o2 voltages, map pressure, etc. Although it may cost 200-300 dollars.

When looking at my stage zero plus maps.....I dont see a removal of 20% fuel.....at most its 7.3%.

When logging with commslog what does a timing value of 118 mean?
