If I have the exede what other elctronics do I need? I mean safc-ii, or knock sensor? Those type of electronincs. What would compliment the system is what I am asking?

Xede

I have the XEDE in my car also. You can use SAFC and other electronics, but it isn't neccessary. You can still use the XEDE by itself. What other mods do you have?

Thanks for the info you just saved me a few bucks. Sometimes I read these forums and I feel like I dont know anything about my car. Anyways. 3" tbe, APS cold air intake, and samco intercooler hoses. I am getting the Exede put back on, and the lightweight cam gears that I had.

Xedes work best (more predictable/consistent) with the stock airbox, I had the cone and complete RMR intake, changed back to the stock air box. much better!

Smoked is right - if you want to keep intake you will need Shiv to tune it for that as the downloadable maps do not take an intake into consideration.

Do a search on intakes on the Vishnu forum and you'll find a lot of info on why some think intake uncessary.
