This only gets better by the post; I would have sworn someone like yourself would be making your own, much less asking what the difference is, with your merits and all. 301, 321 that would be the difference in strength, 301 not as strong as the 321.

AMS uses 304 SS thick wall tubular header.
The most likely reason AMS (and I'm guessing here) uses thick 304 SS is that it is "good enough" and it is both easier to work with and less expensive. The most likely reason Vishnu uses 321 (again taking an educated guess here) is that 321 is theoretically better suited for high temperature application such as exhaust manifolds, and if anything else, Shiv and Co. are probably even bigger perfectionists than AMS.

If you want a pump gas monster, my recomendation would be a 3071 with 280 cams. The 3071 is a bit stronger on pump gas than the 3037. With that turbo, I think that 120 trap speeds would be doable on 93. As for 123....who knows.
