Hey guys, I plan on getting a Vishnu stage upgrade for my Evo some time in the future and I was just wondering if any of you guys who went w/ Vishnu have videos of their cars driving so I can get an idea of how much faster it will make the car. I tried searching for vids but couldn't really find anything.

And just for the record, do you guys think a Evo with stage 1+ (v390) can beat a C5 base Vette in a top end run, or keep up with a '03 Cobra?

 

I have the satge 1+, I asked for more torqe though, its pretty damb fast for the street. As for the two cars, the cobra I would say yes because I was at a track day and a mach 1 wasn't able to catch up. The vet, no, the f**ker weighs the same as the evo or damb near. With 450 at the motor an less wind resistance, we would need more power or less weight. The advantage that we would have is launch, in straight line performance.

 

Well the base C5 Vette has 350 hp at the motor. Would the Evo's stage 1+ extra power compensate for the drivetrain loss and drag coefficient.

 

Well with only 350 at the motor and the evo having an advantage with launch, I would think it would be close. Thats one car that I haven't raced. I know the newer vets are faster than me.

 

A 1+ will bust a C5' s *** all over the place. As for absolute top speed I think the vette nudges out the 1+ by a lil bit.

 

Yes it will be faster than the corvete for the 03+ cobra don't know did not run any yet .

 

I think it is funny that we are asking if our four door sedans will beat power house legends

 

Stage 2 can pull on that vette - every gear

With a 1+ you could...
Base C5 Corvette- p0wnag3 yes
Stock Cobra- even yes
Viper GTS- yes [but viper starts to pull at the end of 3rd]

 

AWD>RWD>FWD

 

but a mach 1 isn't as fast as a cobra so that's really saying nothing.
