is the xede the same for an 03 and an 05?

can it be taken from an 03 and put into an 05?

 

I believe the maps are different. But yes you can use the same XEDE piggyback unit.

 

I went from an 03 to an 05 used the same xede in both cars... just change your maps

For some reason my xede doesn't and never worked on my 05 MR. Yes because of this my car is still stock .

Shiv, can i exchage it with the current version. I had my xede since 03 version 1 and worked great until i upgraded to the MR.
