xede quesion

would it be ok to get an xede and a A/F meter to tune. Would it be better just to get SMART (i've been read alot already and still dont know the answer)?? Why?? I was thinking I would rather have just the xede and something like the Innovate LM-1 Air Fuel Ratio Meter and just use it when tuning, as I didn't real care for fully adaptive tuning, just tuning. anyways some help would be nice.

I have a brand new SMART Xede that I am selling. PM me if you are interested.

I have a SMART Xede installed in my car and love it. It is just not adaptive tunning that makes it great but the safety features. Especially if you have or are goign to have an alky kit etc. It is definately the way to go. I just happened to get a second unit that I don't need now. It is brand new still in the box.

If you want to go with something to set and forget so to speak. You can go with Dynoflash and get an SAFC to fine tune in your AFR's. I just happen to have an extra ECU if you want to go that route.

I have also had the Dyno flash in the past and loved it. I swapped it out for the Xede when I got to LA a couple months ago.

good luck...

I currently have the Xede and love it. So far I have just left it on the custum tune I got @ Dyno4mance by Andrew, but I was also thinking of buying a wideband so I can mess with it a little bit myself and also make a map for race fuel. So if anyone has anything bump for answers.

Cool, let me know. I have the complete system that I am selling, but I also may be able to split them up and sell the Xede and the SMART seperately.

I like the Xede better because of the tunability even if you are going to set and forget for the time being.
