Question Tuning question

If the car is tuned fairly aggressively on a dyno in 3rd gear, Doesn't 5th gear put more load on the engine, hence a 5th gear roll on to WOT would produce too much boost and therefore high knock levels?

How do you tune for this?

Do you just know not to roll on too much in 5th gear?

There should never come a time where you get a car tuned on a dyno...load based or not and not test drive it afterwards to make sure evrything is still ok on the street. The load levels do change and its important to verify things like high load boost levels and knock etc etc...........Good luck

Remember that on a Dyno Dynamics dyno, the load can be increased to simulate more burdensome situations for the engine even if in 3rd gear.
