I think that poor trubo is really turning into a mini flame thrower at 27 psi.

yeah, i know....but the meth injection will help the intercooler in cooling that hot air...

i dunno, im going to log some runs in a little while, hopefully i can duplicate the problem on the street and it will be rectified by adding some race gas.....

Id only run 26 psi, also get your 60's down some and you will be in 11's easily.

Ive run 1.6's on the stock clutch with launch control.

If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say that backing off the initial boost spike and the boost between 4000-5000 rpms may take care of your knocking (pulled timing) issues. I used to have my stage 1+ setup occasionally pull timing in that range. If you back off the initial boost spike, you may find that you can actually up your timing a little bit w/out inducing knock sensor activity.

Not sure how far you want to take it, but if you get yourself a pocket logger (or the SW to run an OBDII logger on your laptop), you'll be able to see when your ECU is pulling timing.

or look for Auterra on eBay. I like the auterra software, but haven't had the funds to try it out yet.

I got the digimoto stuff , its slowwwww , it takes a sample every 1-1.5 sec's
(ie 1st sample 4500 rpm then the next sample is at 7700 rpm)

Sorry to go off topic. pyXede can actually do this with off-the-shelf scantools like the one from www.scantool.net. You can actually datalog simultaneously from the scantool and the xede if you use USB (or have multiple serial ports). However, the code isn't exactly...um..."working' at the moment. If anybody is interested in taking a crack at it, the code is on a laptop at my house, i can send it out. The hard part is already done. I have a working obd-ii i/o library. All you have to do is integrate it into the xede logging interface.

EDIT: I didn't finish my thought...Otherwise, folks are going to have to wait until my semester is done here at UNM. That's high on my list of things to do while I'm tooling around the garage during winter break.

Anyway, back to drag racing...
