SMART Basic Tuning Guide -- Questions
I have just read through the "SMART XEDE -- A walk-thru and basic tuning guide -- Rev 1.0"

Naturally I had some questions come up and I am hoping someone more knowledgeable than me might be able to help
Please forgive me if the answers are obvious as I am very new to tuning.
Question:
I was unable to find a stage 330+ SMART map on the Vishnu site. To work around this I loaded the "Stage Zero + Downpipe 91 octane" into XMap2 and following the directions I found here I created the attached map. I used the "SMART pump gas launch control.XM3" to do this. Once done I noticed a distinct difference between the walk-thru boost map and the one I copied. I am curious as to why the percentages are 100% for the 10% and 15% load on mine. Obviously I could change this as advised in the walk-thru but am interested as to why the original map didn't have this already. I also noticed that the percentages are much higher in my map. Is this normal for a stage 0+ car because it spools slower than the example car? Is the map I created correct?
I am hoping that SMART will work for a Stage 0+ car.
If not then Stage 1+ Signature here we come!

i purchased the xede with smart about 3 months ago, so any info on this would be very greatly appreciated.
(sorry this has nothing to do with your post, but what the hell kind of car is that chasing down the F40 in that video???? again i apologize but just had to find out. )

Do this....
fill in the bottom two rows how they were on your old map. Then add the values: 1000, and 1500 to the X-axis of the boost table. Once you have done this, just put zeros in the 10 and 15% for the 1000, and 1500 cells.

Thanks for the help. Just to be clear I attached an updated copy of the boost table -- is this what you meant? Just out of curiosity, why not 0 the 10% and 15% all the way accross?

Actually you can zero out the whole rows. The engine isn't going to be boosting very much at those load levels anyway. It's easier on the WG solenoid as well as avoids that annoying clicking when driving around.

The reason I suggest doing it the way JTB has, is because there will be certain situations where you may need the duty cycle in low load situations. For instance, if you go WOT@ 2000 RPM, while going down hill, you probably wont make enough load to drive the boost solenoid. However, if you put a value in those rows, you will.
