Got to install and tune an XEDE on another Lotus Elise yesterday. This one was already modified with exhaust, header and intake. There's no turbo so there isn't any way to make the massive gains we are used to. But it still picked up some power (although not as much as the last Elise we tuned)



But it's a looker!!!

When I was living in Europe they had the Rover powered Elise, Now I think they use the Toyota Celica VVTI engine on it correct?, what is this car rated from factory? 190hp?

the Celica has a 180hp engine, the Elise has the same engine but is tuned through ECU giving it 10 more hp.

Drove one at Watkins Glen and Le Cirque Tremblant this summer.... Not too impressed, but fun if you want a go kart. I thought I pulled a muscle getting into it the first time!

my bro in law is anxiously awaiting your recommendations for the elise... he has a black one just like that, sans wing. he went to one track day last year and can't wait for spring to get back at it. when you come east, near mid atlantic, we can add him in on your tuning day, that is if meanmud will let him come it'll mix it up for ya. that car is screaming for a little more power, just a little.
