hi freinds happy new year to all!!
i have noticed that my car consumes oil in between changes(3000miles) maybe 1 quart of oil depending on how hard i drive it i use mobile 1 10w-30 is this normal??
my car has 7400miles!

if you drive hard.. it will go through a bit of oil, im pretty sure thats normal.

mine did the same thing... but around 10,000 miles it has slowed down on oil consumption. Now it does not use much at all. Still driving it the same tho...

 

My car too would go thru 1qt every 1000 miles or sometimes more. but i think that's mainly because i drive it hard. Now it's winter and i have 5w-30 in there. I just checked the oil after 1500 miles and no consumption whatsoever.
