I am getting HKS 272's installed on my EVO and I need to choose adjustable Cam Gears. Can I get some opinions on how you like your adjustable cam gears. I am worried about them coming loose over time. Seems the Vishnu gears have 5 bolts keeping them together. Any thoughts? problems?

I heard some people just keep the stock cam gears with 272's.

the vishnu gears are fine, mine have been on for over a year with no problems.

i don't think i've heard of any coming off or loose. just double check the bolts with oil changes. it'd be really easy if you don't run a cam gear cover. i'm probably going to go with vishnu or hks (they fit inside the cam gear cover which is a concern for me since its a daily driver). haven't decided yet.

I've had my Vishnu cam gears on my stock cams since last summer and have had no problems. Can't wait to try them on some aftermarket cams in the future.
