Damn it! It always has to be something. I have developed a wicked boost leak some where in my system. It seems to be opening up around 6000rpm at 23psi. It makes my car feel like a slug at 6000rpm even though its holding 23psi. It looks like I maybe using Axiom's mechanical services to do a pressure test. Hopefully they have the equipment to do it. Good thing I am getting there early .

Could you have had this boost leak the whole time (but perhaps to a lesser degree?) That would explain the rich running and high MAF values!

It's possible, but I just started hearing the noise today and I have dropped 3psi. It's really loud too. At first, I thought I was having a slight misfire, because I was having a slight hesitation after 6000rpm. I swapped plugs and gapped them to .023 and that didn't do anything. So I went out to due some fine tuning and once I hit 6500rpm it started leak or something started screaming.
