Problems connecting the Innovative XD1 Gauge to SMART system
Hi guys did anybody connect the Innovative XD1 Gauge to the SMART system ? I am asking because I connected the XD1 Gauge to the SMART and having some weird reading , it doesn’t show the A/F ratio it switches back and fort to A/F and % and sometimes it stays 20.9 than o2 and sometimes it reads 2.5 of something witch I am not sure what
, so any advice would be appreciated .

After the XD-1 is installed you need to re-calibrate the LC1. I followed the LC1 1st time use procedure as described in the instruction manual; first do heater calibration, then free air calibration. You may also just try doing a free air calibration by pressing the XD-1 button 3 times rapidly and see if theis fixes your problem. The 20.9 flashing when you get off the throttle is normal.
BTW I just got the LMA-3 running as standalone I can log boost again, only thing I missed after selling the zeitronix. I'm just waiting for one cable to daisy chan LC-1>LMA-3>XD-1.
The cool thing is XD-1 can be programmed to display any channel...

Hey Jorge, I am also running LC-1 with my smart system. I am interested in this LMA-3. You can hook this up to the LC-1? Is it just a plug & play or do you need to do some wiring? As I am understanding the LMA-3 allows to data log RPM, injector Duty cycle, boost, egt and acceleration (which I am not sure of what it is 0-60??).
The LMA-3 connects to the LC-1 and XD-1 with their 2.5 mini plug cable, pretty much plug and play. The acceleration is in G's and can be logged in direction of travel and side to side. the only wiring needed is the connection with the signal that is going to be logged.
I really like the data manipulating features of logworks, the graph overlays, xy plots and 3d plots turn data into useful information. Also with the g-meter and the formula calculator power curves can be plotted. If only Xede had data logging software with an interface like this...hint hint.

Sounds like a great tool for data logging. Just to clarify something, in order for it to read boost you need to wire to a boost gauge and does that go the same for the EGT gauge? Also the injector cycle you need to tap one of the cyclinder wires on the ECU harness? Anything else I need to run this or do?

Nope, the car wouldn't combust if it were actually that rich at idle.
