Thumbs up Vishnu goes to Europe!

We'll not really all of us. Just me I'll be leaving town on Wednesday the 15th morning and will be back for work on Tuesday the 21st (with a heavy dose of jetlag). So go easy on the boys (and girl) while I'm gone. I'll be here all day tomorrow (although most of that time will be with dyno appointments). I will try to jump on-line from time to time but no promises. For those who care, I'll be arriving in Rome on Thursday, driving up the coast to Tuscony, and then up to Monte Carlo for a couple of days. Then hauling *** back to Rome for my return flight... lol. All this in a rental Ferrari 360 Modena... Whoo hooo!!!

I left a lot of money in Monte Carlo....

The big casino has a dress code so becareful what you wear. The cars there are awesome and for 1 million euros you can have a nice studio apartment.

BTW -- Hertz supposedly has a 997 rental option that is quite cost effective
(not very Italian though)

Have fun on the Autostrada in your rental. Nothing in my rearview mirror, so I decide it's ok to pass the car in front of me. Pedal to the metal, not even next to the car in front yet, I look in the rearview and all I see are flashing headlights. Have fun in the Ka. I had a Smart for four. Not much better

I also had a Citroen among my huge list of cars I owned while I was in Euope 25 plus years. My Citroen was a 1988 BX GTI which I blew the engine racing a Porsche 911 T( 4 Cylinder Porsche from late 60's early 70's) .

Mine Citroen had the Hydroneumatic suspension. That thing is cool as hell. A little remark about Citroen, they are the only manufacturer in the world that I know that never produced a sedan car, they are all hatchbacks. I can't forget the day Citroen launch the fastest production Turbo diesel car in the world, it was the Citroen CX TD, 126MPH(1986)

Speed limit in autoestrada is 130 kilometros por hora. Caribineris don't joke around, their Alfa 156s are fast as hell. I recommend you drive just a little bit south and visit Barcelona, you wouldn't regret..

Carlos

Yeah, we just keep the forum, phones, emails, PMs and dyno 'cause we think it looks cool. And all the dyno days we have set up...those are just for decoration. That's it, and that's all.
