XEDE W/Smart with NO mods - Worth it?

The only Mod I have on my 03 Evo 8 is an intake so far. If I were to purchase an XEDE W/Smart with no other mods would it be worth it? Or should I wait until I can get a whole stage 0+ or higher setup?

I also noticed there are no 3.2 Smart maps available for anything less than stage 1...

Xede with SMART is definitely worth it, especially at the current pricing. However, I'd lose the intake in favor of a downpipe/highflow cat combo or full exhaust.

It's very much worth it, especially on 93 octane.

What map would I use? Do I need to wait till the stage 0 or subzero 3.2 maps are ready?

They have maps available. They aren't on the website though. You'll need to call them to get it. If you buy the XEDE, they'll load it w/ whatever map you want.

I have a Subzero map if you need it. I ran just XEDE without any other mods and it is totally worth it. Once you get a downpipe you can install your SMART as well. Everytime you add a part you just upload a new map rather than getting your car reflashed every other day.

I would go with the V330+ NonSmart first.
That's what I have and I love it. You can always upgrade later.

I would also take Ludikraut's advice and lose the intake in favor
of a downpipe/highflow cat combo or full exhaust. You'll be glad you did.

...which begs the question: Why NON smart at first? To save $$$?

To have SMART you need to have a Bung welded onto your downpipe. If your going to upgrade your downpipe down the road with a V330 or higher you will need to have another Bung welded onto your new downpipe. Not worth the extra money to have on stock DP.

Well, V330+ is a downpipe equipped car. If you already have the downpipe, yank it off, and get the bung welded on
