Luis Cuellar V550 Kit Finally Instaled But Some Problems Present Please Help!
hi friends LUIS CUELLAR USING jrsimon27 username we installed the v550 kit to my car but i have a couple of questions:
1-the knock buffer of the smart system has a blue wire and a white wire were do i install this lines??
2-how do i calibrate the smart setup i read the instrucciones and what i did is put the car in first gear then rev it to 6500rpm let the gas out and when the car is about to touch 6000rpm i press the red button, then i open my data live display but the an1 table is set at 53% it doesnt move and an0 table is at 14% at idle and when revving it in neutral at 6000rpm it doesnt move at all please help on this??
3-the car stalls and dies at idle is this cause we need to calibrate smart or is it cause of the 280 cams we set the cam gears at -3,-3?? or do we just adjust the idle from the throttle body??

1. You dont need to. They are for a CEL fix, for the p0420 code that comes along with test pipes.
2. No no no....drive the car in third gear, take it up to 6000 rpm, then lift of the gas, and hit the calibrate button.
3. If the ECU has been flashed, I would imagine that calibrating the wideband will fix it. However, I would probably go less agressive on the cam gear settings, as there is no need to run those at -3, -3.

You might want to try your cam gears at +2, 0. The greater lobe separation angle will help your idle quite a bit. I believe Ted B used these settings with good results (though on a stock turbo). I'd also adjust your base idle set screw on top of the throttle body if you haven't already. Hope that helps.
