High Speed Data Logging ?????
High Speed Data Logging ?????
I finally installed my Xede and it works. Uuuuuhuuuu, I had some problems with it getting to run. Thanks Shiv for the new unit, this one works, car started without hesitation. I tried to do some data logging but it does not apear to collect any data. For now I have only TB exhaust, and complete SMART kit to be installed. But before I do that I have few more things to complete so no SMART for now.
Question is, how do you guys data log???? I went to the High Speed Data Logging, set up a Log File name and tried to data log. After clicking on the Start Logging button the status showed that it was capturing the data but bytes logged stayed all the time at 0 (zero.) Even when I checked the file that the data was suppose to be collected nothing was there besides the headers. I understand that I will not collect a lot of data but for what I have now I would like to see how this feature works. How do you guys log your informations????

go up there and get the Commslog app. This will let you do data logging.
As an alternative, you can try pyxede,
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ghlight=pyxede
but user beware, it's open source and needs more development. pyxede shows potential, but needs more development to be really useful.
