There are no aftermarket turbos except for Garretts. OEM stuff is good (usually Mitsu based) but aftermarket turbos that arent garrett dont exist to me.

IHI makes aftermarket turbos.

They can sure as hell keep them- a vf 34 with the spool time of a 35R and the power of a K03. No thanks. I see why you like the IHI but seriously Ill use a garrett everytime. There really isnt a reason not to.

I been watching this setup from Project Gen for months thinking the same thing (knock off). I alluded to in this thread in SoCalEvo about a month ago: http://www.socalevo.net/index.php?op...760#msg6652760
However, it is different enough (for the worse IMHO) that I decided not to even bother kicking up any dust over it.

Since I can't view that thread... what makes it "worse" in your opinion... besides the turbo.
