How do i connect the clutch switch?

How do i connect the clutch switch?

hi friends my car is a jdm evo 8 and i want to install my launch control but the problem is that my clutch switch is disconnected it just has the switch which it has 2 wires one red and the other white,what do i do with this wires to activate the switch?? i imagine one connects to the xede and the other wire to the iginition or starter switch iam i correct on this?
my car you can start it up with out pressing the clutch in!! what do i do

You pulled the wrong clutch wire. There are two switches, one which activates the upper clutch switch, the other that activates the lower clutch switch. Reinstall the one you pulled, and give the other a try.

what happens is that my car you can start it without pressing the clutch pedal in. different from the other evos you need to press the clutch to get her to start.
under my clutch pedal i have the switch but it is not connected to anything its just there,when i look at the connector it has 2 wires one red and one white,on my ECU there is no light green wire the pin is empty.
so first how do i connect the clutch pedal switch on the car so that the car starts up while pressing the clutch in?

You probably cannot use the feature then. If you only have one clutch switch, leave it plugged in. They use the 2nd clutch switch on US evos for SMOG, so it makes sense that you wouldnt have one.

dustin and vishnu update: i bought a second clutch switch from mitsu and and we took on wire to ground and the other to the first pin of the xede and it works great!! no shift lifting is great also!!
