Xede tuning- how difficult?
I'm fine with admitting that I'm a noob when it comes to tuning my own car....Now, with the Xede, it hooks up to your computer via cable, correct? How easy is it to use, and will I be able to get the hang of it without having any prior experience? I've tried looking around on the internet trying to catch the general idea, but I'm a hands on person....I'm interested in the v390 setup and like to idea of not having to send my ECU in to get flashed whenever I add a new mod (that is correct, right?)- but if you add a mod, say an intake or something later, how do you know where to go on the map and how much to adjust it? If these questions are stupid, I apologize- this is my first turbocharged/computer driven car, and I'm really enjoying learning- but I am definitely still learning.

Thanks guys- one more question (actually I'll probably have more)...What if I want to stray from the Vishnu path a little and add a HKS suction intake? I know there are maps for the stages, but what if I want to add things here and there?
A lot of ppl here are going to give you the same answer on the intake:
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT.
Seriously, on the stock turbo, there is no reason to go with it. If you must modify your intake, drop a high-flow filter into the stock airbox and call it a day. However, be warned, changing that filter will make your car run slightly leaner (~.2 to .3 AFR) than it would with the stock filter.
Take the money that you would have spent on the HKS and apply it to something more useful, like the SMART feature for the XEDE, or cams, or other, more "proven-to-make-power" mods.
