Smart upgrade....some questions
Ok, I got my SMART upgrade, and the knock buffer that I had to get seperatly, as my Xede didn't come with one. I've been going over the install instructions to familiarize myself with the process before I get started, and I have a few questions. #1...is this the knockbuffer?

This quote is from the install instructions:
"Before placing the orange locking piece back into the bottom of gray connector, place the yellow pin of the knock buffer into pin 9 on the gray connector." Look at the yellow wire...there is no terminal, just a stripped wire. Where can I get the terminal? There is also no mention of where the white & blue wires that have ECU type terminals on them go. Is there a seperate instruction set somewhere on how to wire the knock buffer for those of us who didnt get it w/ the Xede?

The white and blue wires are for the integrated o2 simulator (for catless cars). Fo the knock buffer, all you will use is the yellow, pink red (12v) and black (gnd) wires.
The pink taps into the pink wire on the harness and the yellow gets pushed into the XEDE connector. The yellow wires should be terminated with a terminal however. Did you remove it or is that how you got it. If that is how you got it, I'm sorry. I'll have the guys send out a terminated wire for you to stick on the end of that wire. Just PM me your address and name.

Id also recommend finding a store where you can purchase the terminals. Im lazy so I wont look up where I got them but i got 10 of each male/female for like $6 shipped. They come in handy.
Also seperate question for shiv, would it be possible to wire in the O2 sim and put the wideband in the rear stock O2 bung? If so that would be great and save me the time/cost of having the bung welded into the downpipe.

Hook up the wires the same as in the instructions.

Thanks, I'll get that done.
Is there anything else I'm missing? Seems like theres alot of missing stuff from the instructions. For instance, there's a black and 2 red wires coming off the xede harness (where the black and gray plug wires go into the wrapped set of wires) that are not mentioned anywhere that I can find. What are those wires for?
