hi every one I got the 264 intake and 280 exhaust camshafts suggested by vishnu. I have not been able to set my cam gears to obtain maximum results any suggestions??? the settings for the cams gears rigth now are -4 intake and -2

can shiv please tell me what the appropiate setting for the cams should be?

mods are:


• Vishnu adjustable cam gears
• Hks intake
• Hks exhaust
• down pipe
• Borla ( header )
• perrin Fuel rail
• 255 fuel pump
• Unorthodox pulleys
• Dual friction clutch
• Perrin test pipe
O2 housing
10.5 turbo hot side

 

i think vishnu recomends -3,-3

 

have you heard this combination from them before? When I got them shiv was out of town and the setting they suggested was -2/0 which did not really work

-2,0 should work just fine. I've tuned a couple of cars with that setting. Never hurts to play around though...

Shiv, this is a unique cam combination. Is there a a big advantage over the 264/272 combo?

shiv I have tried that combination -2/0 but the cars does not feel very good. the one it work fine is -3/-1. I am not an expert on this matter but does the weather affects the performance of the car and the cams settings? I am in miami!! lots of humidity.

 

shiv is the setting -2/0 for the v390 package?
