Vishnu tuned STI runs 122 mph.

I know this is not about an evo, but my friends sti with a 30r trapped 122 mph a few weeks ago at sac. He has major traction issues (stock tires with 20k on them); however i just thought the trap speed was pretty good. His best et was only 12.2, but with some drag radials or non balding tries i think the car is good for mid 11s. This car made 375 whp on shiv's dyno btw.

I don't even see how the STi tires last 15k miles. But 20k miles with 375whp?
Priorities, man...

What was his 60' time?

lol i know i make fun of him about it every day. He doesnt road race at all, but he drag races a lot. Im not sure how his tires lasted that long either. His 60 foots were 2.0+

Both of us are headding out as soon as the rain stops over here. Hopefully this weekend.

Countdown to MGBSTI chiming in: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, . . .

By the way, those trap speeds are insane.

I was thinking that those are pretty good for an sti that only made 375 whp. I normally see stis under 110 or just above it. So picking up 12 mph is nothing small.

yeah. stock bottom end. Shiv said the car will make more power, but he refused to go any higher as the chance of spun bearings grow exponentially after that much power on the sti.

Tell Shiv to stop being a sissy and just "push it!"

The STI has a very stout engine and will take any abuse thrown its way...
At least for a couple of runs.
j/k, j/k

BTW
Nice traps for only 375whp.
