I had a blast Friday meeting Shiv, Tom, Andy, Steve for the first time and seeing Alfred and TJ again.

Shiv is great at trash talking The internet does not do him justice. I enjoyed trash talking with him very much. He is also a great kart driver. He kicked my *** and I am man enough to admit it He was faster than anyone else on the kart track. I hope we can do this again next time he is in town. It was really cool.

After the track we went for pizza and beer. I had a great time. I made it home to Long Beach by 1:00 AM.

I wonder what they did Saturday night?

 

Years of driving doesn't mean squat sometimes.

 

I qualified third and finished in third place in the finals. It was a lot of fun. There will be photos coming...

 

The whole organization was very confusing. I was under the impression that you qualify by time and then you race by position. It turns out that lap times was what mattered during the race and not how you finished.

Anyway, the whole idea was to have fun and trash talk, and we did plenty of that

 

Tell me about it I never knew that the steering on the Kart was so damn stiff I am used to power steering on my race car. And the damned seat was plastic. And I thought my race car was not comfortable. I will take my race car any day over a kart

 

Just to rub it in a little...
