just curious if anyone knows whether or not the xede can be used if the car has already been dynoflashed, or does the ecu need to be sent to vishnu for an xede flash...thanks

 

You can use the XEDE to fine tune both flashed and stock Evo ECUs. However, if your flash is already close to the optimum tune, then there isn't much the XEDE will be able to do above and beyond it as far as max power is concerned. However, you will gain the use of two maps and the potential benefits and added safety of the SMART system and the conditional maps (e.g. lean run protect).

well, i dont think thats what he meant .. its not to work conjunction with any other flashes .. its just to instead of running on a flash ECUs .. they would run xede .. so, the question is .. can xede work if the ECU was already been reflashed, would the stock ECU need to be flash back to stock ?

 

The only problems you'll run into is if you use your flashed ECU and a Staged map for the Xede since the Staged maps are assuming you have the factory maps. If you're getting your Xede custom tuned, it won't be a problem.
