50 Trim install Help :P

So the way the car sits is tuned at 300 AWHP
Vishnu Cam Gears, HKS i264/e272
3" TBE. XEDE.

So im going to be installing the
AMS 50 Trim Kit
AMS FMIC
780cc Injectors
Walboro 255

wondering about a base map to get this sucker to get tuned... what if any info people can give me, advise what not?

i mean im sure the car will run fine on the stock map to get it to the dyno shop, just shouldnt try to boost it at all? or would it be better to get a map from you guys or what?

thanks.

very excited to get this on the road, should be up and running late this month or early next.

From what I hear from Dustin, when you go to bigger injectors your ecu needs to be scaled or it will run like sh*t. As far as a map maybe someone here has a similar setup and can share one. Sounds like you will need a custom one to reap the benefits.

IMHO, you need 1.4bar worth of spring in the wastegate and 680cc injectors. Shiv has a really good flash for 680cc and they are big enough for a 50trim.

I had a very similar setup to what EvoRecordSetter is going to, and IMO the 1.4 bar wastegate spring is too high. In cold weather you will get serious overboost in 4th gear, even with the boost table set to 0. 1.3 bar would probably work, I myself went down to a 1.2 bar (but I also went to an MBC).

As others have said, the ECU will need to be rescaled for the 780cc injectors. Disconnect the XEDE when you are driving it to the shop to get tuned (read: no boost other than wastegate spring pressure) and don't beat on it. If you should have issues with idling after all is said and done, then get a tactrix cable and fix it with ECUflash.
