so vishnu claims they can make a IX run a 12.3 for only $750? or am i missing some middle steps here.. Also do they have copy right protection on the flashes so that you can not have it fine tuned at a local dyno or a reflash off of it?

The harness for the IX is not out. They have a couple harnesses and are doing testing and such. Shiv say he has everything done but MIVEC control. The xede on a VIII and IX are the same, just use different firmware and harness.

I believe the reason VIII flashes are less is and VIII flash is techtom or some other system.
The IX flash is an Ecutek flash I believe making it more expensive.

IX's can be low 12's with a flash and the right driver and good conditions

I havent poked around in it but the EcuFlash program has full IX support now. So hopefully some cheaper flashes will be available for those guys now.

I noticed in your sig you have the software... Have you ran it at the track? and also have you had it dyno'd and if so what were you'r numbers?

What is a better choice, Vishnu subzero or ecuFlash ?

If you do $$ per horsepower thats a monster deal ~_^

Also... No harness ready yet. I didn't mean to get peoples hopes up, plus there's no "order now" button under the XEDE for Evo IXs =P
