If you are waiting for us, Vishnu, to setup the dyno day for you... thats not how it works. Usual protocol for a dyno day requires a memeber of the forum will take initiative and set it up.

Atleast create a list of people that will commit to a dyno day, then we can think about sending Shiv down. Since we've done dyno days down south before, we can even help you with contacting Tuning Technologies to use their facility ~_^

 

xtremeIX, what Calvin just said really hits it right on the nail. Smogrunner has organized the last 2 So Cal dyno days and it does take a bit of effort and persistance to get one of these events going. In fact I believe that somebody else tried to start the last So Cal dyno day and Smogrunner had to take over just to make sure it was done right. So if you want to make things happen you're going to have to really be in charge and commited. It's kind of unfair about what you previously said without knowing all the details of what is involved.

 

In the e-mail Vishnu needs to be more specific about coming down and having a dyno day because not everybody knows what's involved. In addition, you're right in the fact that I didn't know all the details but I was attempting to contact the Vishnu to get those details and they didn't respond. The last e-mail I received was, "No Problem!"

I got soooo beat down by my wife for being gone all weekend on the last Vishnu dyno day. It seems she wants help raising the kids . Anyway, someone has to step to the plate, look at an old dyno day thread by me, Noize, etc. Copy that format, and start signing people up. If there looks to be enough interest, then contact the shop: Tuning Technologies, etc, and see what they can do.

Dyno days are great, just make sure to clear your weekend and contact Alfred at TT to make sure he does not have anything going on during the weekend your planning to do the event. Also, you might want to see what pricing will be for Shiv doing a custom tune plus dyno time at TT.
