IMO getting an IX and not doing the basic mods is just plain deprevation. The least you could do is get a custom flash and turboback. That's like $1200 or so and it transforms the car into a different beast. You gotta be either super cheap or stupid not to do it
If you are involved that much in this lifestyle...there is no way you could possibly keep your car "stock" i would put alot of money down saying that somewhere down the lines there is a drop in filter,turbo timer, sway bar, lowering springs, short through shifter, at least a cat back exhaust...com'on buddy. i even was modding the crap out of my 03 ranger edge...i was beating mustang GT's, not the new ones the 03 body style.

I am looking into my crystal ball...............I am seeing a full turbo-back exhaust.........I am also seeing Shiv's Magic on the ECU........the outcome 345/340 
with proper suspensionl like Vishnu Ohlins.........I see unbeatable combination for Autox and road racing.
