Question Xede and the ECU Maps

I have a question to ask. I hope that someone can give me an answer. The Evo 8 has a low and high octane fuel map and low and high octane igintion map in the ECU.

When the Xede alters the fuel and ignition map, does it alter the low or high octane/ignition map? Or does it alter both?

I am very curious about this.

It alters the MAF signal, so the short answer is both, or whichever the ECU is currently on to be more correct. The ECU will jump to the low octane/timing maps if the knock sensor sees detonation. The safety is from the different maps, but the new XEDE conditionals provide even more safety!
