Still having boost problems

It 's been a year and I still haven't resolved my boost issue
works in stock mode but not with Xede harness, the install has been repeated
several times, grounds checked and wires in proper places nothing happens
approx 13 psi WOT. I have been using a MBC holding at 20 psi with no spike in boost press switchin back and forth to troubleshoot boost problems. Is there a chance there could be something wrong with my Xede harness? Everything else works perfectly. It has never worked since I have owned it.

Can you show us a picture of the harness install? It is possible the unit could be bad but it cannot hurt to double check.

Sounds to me like you've got the wrong green wire tapped into the Xede. There are 2 on the plug and people commonly tap the wrong wire and will only see WG pressure, as you are.

At any rate, the Xede can work with your MBC to still intercept the other values (fuel, ignition, knock, et al) so that you know it's working.

That being said, does the status light turn green after you start the car with the Xede installed? You haven't said what firmware you're using and what map you're using, so I'm assuming the Xede has a Map stored in at least one bank. Check the LED status first and we'll help you out from there.

if you had a mbc and went to an xede you could be missing the boost pill by the watsegate.

Have you replaced your lower intercooler pipe vacuum hose? The one off the nipple of lower intercooler pipe on the intercooler. There is a pill in that hose that needs to remain. Otherwise you will only see wastegate pressure.

Hope this helps....

All buyers should consider their options before purchasing. 100 bucks for XEDE flash is a marginal expense at best. Open your own business and give away the farm for all I care, but don't complain about something you knew about beforehand. And do your due diligence.

yes it still works good w/MBC
and it does turn green
3.207 I think is the firmware
standard 05 v360 93 smart enabled map off the web site
It runs great execpt for boost control
