Shiv - time for Portland/Seattle?
Hey, I hear torque freaks is the best around with a AEM. Expect me on your list in a few weeks. Eric from horsepowerfreaks talked me into this $1500 expense - better be worth it......I could care less about DEQ, got tags till 08'
Value - I will sell you my Xede with smart flash already done, the smart knock buffer (brand new never used), you just need buy a wideband and hook it up same as instruction from VISHnu for thier LC-1 wideband they sell with the kit. I am using my LC1 from the Vishnu smart kit with my AEM now.
All this for $350, I don't think you can beat that, man..you could pick up a bosch wideband for probably $140 or less.

Value - flash can mean many things - as I work in tech. sector. Flash is typically an alteration of an instructon set of code that boots on turnkey power & and monitors voltage responses from sensors around the engine. SMART flash is proprietary to VISHNU's product XEDE, not the ECU. XEDE is a separate box next to the ECU. Flash, in the VISHNU context, is an upgrade of firmware to allow for NEW sensors/or add ons/ or changing the code to run more efficient as bugs were found in the previous version of the code.
Do you have the XEDE box from VISHNU? You will pay $995 for theirs plus $350 for the SMART upgrade. You would pay $350 for mine with everything plus $140 for a wideband.

I already have a xede and what your saying isn't what I've read and also heard from Vishnu. The factory ECU needs flashed to remove the Boost cut and Rev Limits. Xede can't override those factory settings in the ECU. If the xede was a standalone ECU such as the AEM you could.

On another note, it seems as though we are the only 3 posting on this thread and it has changed from the topic of a Portland dyno day to Vishnu products. I can't explain what happened to the momentum but suffice ot it say I am very disappointed. Que sera sera, no puedo hacer mas
