XEDE and Meth

Anyone know what methanol kit tends to work the best with the XEDE? I am searching around and just want to make sure that tuning won't be super hard.

Those are the dyno results on an Xede with AMS Meth at 100% meth.

Sounds like a plan then. I just wish that I could get my XEDE upgraded so I could hold two full maps. Right now I have NLTS and Launch Control on both my pump and race gas maps and I have to burn the eprom when I want to switch it. (Only done this once).

Btw: This whole set-up is an AMS 3071R kit.

I have LC and NLTS on my 93+Meth map and SMART 93 on the other. You don't need SMART on you meth map and the Xede can hold both.

So drop the SMART tables and I can fit them both on the XEDE? Sweet. Umm, Cajun, once again could you explain how I do this.

On your pump gas map use the smart template. On the pump+meth map use the NON smart enabled template. Then you will need to add a meth table and adjust the logic flow to include the meth map into the flow (input/output of tables).

So in terms of timing, if you have your timing map zeroed out (no retard), then with methanol would it be advantageous to ADD more timing? I have always heard/read/seen people add lots of timing when using methanol. Should I just add +1 to +2 degrees of timing from 5k+ on my methanol tune?

No, mine is not that agressive. Do a search in the Vishnu section for Houston Dyno and get the results from our dyno day and look at my map. It is 0's for the most part and -'s at high rpms.

Not that I have seen. I think the conditional logic is supposed to take over that role.
