Hey Shiv, Alfred at TT and Hans have been trying to reach to no avail so I thought I'd see what evom's opinions are..


Shortly after I got the Stage 2 kit installed on my vehicle I had a series of exhausts leaks from the wastegate [a common problem on the 38mm tial] and from the actual turbo which Alfred promptly fixed [great shop to work with btw]. After that we slapped the car onto his dyno at Tuning Technologies just to see how it would do and the results were horrible! The car was making only about 315whp on pump gas. For comparison, a tuned Stage 1 Evo IX would make the same amount of power if not more on this dyno.

After looking at all of the probable causes to this we couldn't find anything wrong with the car mechanically... it was holding 23psi all throughout... no boost or exhaust leaks... and we couldn't look into the ecu as it is locked. Looking at the dyno graph everything looks smooth until about 6~6.5k rpm where the power dramatically stops making power and begins to drop till redline. Alfred noted that the car is pulling lots of timing up top but the car just isn't making any power. Help!

if there are no boost leaks then check the timing belt it might be off a teeth also check your compression!
