Need help from Vishnu Guys or Xede Users

First let me say say Shiv Dyno tuned my car so I did none of the maps. Starting over the summer on hot days the car ran like *** and the Xede would make this clicking noise (like a relay on and off). Car hesitates, backfires, pain in the *** to drive home in traffic. After some reading on here sounded like the over temp protection but now it's 30-40 degress here in St. Louis and it randomly does it. Every time it does it I pull the Xede down to see the light the next time it does it but I can never see it and I''m never in a place where I can stop and take a look. Any ideas, basically it's making my care really un-reliable to drive b/c I may be driving the bucking bronco home for 45 min's. Then on the other hand some days it runs like a beast. Any info of suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What color does the light flash when this happens?

Also, check the connection to your boost wire. If this is loose, it may be making the boost solenoid to turn on and off when you go over bumps.

I don't know what color it blinks, I can't ever get to it when it's doing it and it's up under my glove box. I'll check the boost wire, what color should that be? That might be it. It started on the way home tonight after I did a quick pull to pass a car. You can here something clicking and then it runs fine for a few seconds and then clicks and runs like crap.

i had a similar problem, you have to let the xede load everything up. so when you turn your car on put the ignition on the "on" position for a couple of seconds then go ahead and turn it on completely

I've read about having to do that sometime but this isn't a instant thing when I start the car, it happened last night after driving for 20 mins and if I stop and turn the car off and restart, it still runs crappy. I'm going to pull it down this weekend and check all the connections. Our dyno day was crazy and shiv was working double time to get things back on track so something might be loose and randomly causing issues.

Please check the color of the light, when this happens. Just set your Xede on the floor, so you can see the LED.
