Xede from a evo 8 work for a 9?

I am interested in buying a xede and I have a chance to buy a used one from someone who had it on a 8, will there be any issues using it on my 9 or do I need to buy a brand new one from vishnu?

I have one available...i think you will need to buy the IX harness so that u can use it on your car....i believe the xede itself is the same...

how much would it cost to get the evo ix harness for the xede if I buy someone's xede that used it on a evo 8? Does anyone have the harness for the 9 for sale?
