Disabling Xede Boost W/O Removing Xede

Does anyone know how I can disable the Xede boost control function w/o removing the Xede?

I want to test some ECU boost control maps and I want to disable the Xede boost control.

Thanks

Just return the relocated blue (I think) wire back to the ECU socket, it's that simple. Make sure you tape off the wire coming off of the Xede (green?) to avoid it shorting out on something.

I did some research after I posted and it seems that removing the boost wire (light green) from the Xede harness and plugging it back inot the ECU harness is the only way to do it.

I was hoping that there would be a way to do it with the software. Oh, well.

No, that would not return the control t the ECU. The Xede does not intercept the boost signal, it simulates it through the wire switch. The Xede sends a fake signal to the ECU to make it happy and not trip a CEL for the BCS being disconnected and then controls the BCS directly.

Disconnect the boost control wire as everyone has suggested ... it's the one seperate from the harness. Superhatch is right, the Xede doesn't intercept boost it directly controls it ... setting it to 0 would probably give you 7psi peek boost.

I removed the xede entirely. I now have the ECU controlling everything, including boost. Ecuflash solved it all for me.

My gf tried the xede on as a neckless when I told her how much I paid for it in March of last year, but it did not look too good

I am still amazed about how fast Ecuflash made almost every other tuning hardware obsolete for the Evo in a span of one year.
