What is the actual HP rating for Stage 1?
Hey Shiv,
I am wondering what your actual results are for your Stage 1 kit for the Evo? In the current CarAndDriver article your Stage 1 kit is quoted as putting out 310 HP at the crank but your website says it is 340.
Thanks!

The car we entered in the C&D shootout ran a very early version of our Stage 1 kit. This was before we had boost control or ran adj. cam gears. As such, it only made around 225 wheel hp on our dyno. With the gears and boost control, the current Stage 1 kit makes 240-255 wheel hp on the same dyno under similar conditions. Lead times for magazines are typicaly 3-4 months which means that what you read this month is old news

Cheers,
shiv
PS. To give you an idea of how quickly things have advanced since we started tuning the EVO, current Stage SubZeros are making as much as 220 wheel hp
And Stage Zeros around 235-240.
