ok finished the install.....
i love the gains...definetly pulls harder in the top rpms...and maintains good boost levels...seems to idle a smidge higher when warm...at about 900-1k rpm...but no biggie....no detonation and no CEL's....
its a bit humid and hot out right now....so i am going to wait till evening or another chilled night to really let her rip....i can't wait to see how it feels then....
All in all....defintely money well spent....i can't wait to upgrade to the stage zero and then stage one and so on...keep em coming shiv...

I like both you as vendors and I just want to hear the truth. I do not care if a car make 500HP if it blows up with 10min at the track. I am going to see how the AEM works with the EVO before I do anything. If it turns out to be a mess your stage 1 or 2 will be on order. Also will the car pass emmisions with your stage 1 or 2? also what if I put all your stuff on my car and use your map without any changes and it blows up at the track?

Also what about emmisions? Are you going to get this stuff CARB?

The graph you posted up, IIRC, is from a 2wd dynojet. There are extra drivetrain losses associated with an extra set of drive wheels.

I believe we're operating on a 2-3 week lead time with EVO XEDEs. Currently making a very large batch which should, when done, get us all caught up with demand.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but as of today, Sept. 13th, there is still no stage 0 93 octane w/catback AND downpipe on the vishnu site - but I hope to get my car tuned by Shiv at B&M tranny in Oct.(if i get it in time

Shiv, What if I want to do a different exhaust and use your computer? do you see that being a problem? I am just checking because I may want to do different things like cam gears or whatever and I don't want to be stuck with "Stages" all the time. I dono if I would do this but what would be really cool is if you made maps for each thing so that people can mix and match stuff. I know that would take a lot of work but your computer is the only real computer our there.

Not to worry, I do have such a map which I can email to you when you receive your XEDE. Hope to see you at B&M....

Shiv,
Sent my Xede back for firmware upgrade and PnP harness on August 10th at which time I also ordered cam gears. Last week Ken told me the Xede had to be shipped back to Australia for the required firmware changes and that it should be back this coming week. Why can't it just be exchanged for a newer one?
Been without my Xede for 5 weeks now and it I need the power back!
He also said the cam gears are probably still a couple of weeks out. Can I count on receiving them in plenty of time for installation prior to the NJ Dyno day in October?
regards,

Upgraded Xede arrived Friday and all I can say is wow! It was worth the wait. With the new map including the boost control feature, performance is markedly improved over the original Xede Stage Zero + DP all the way to redline.
Now if those cam gears would just arrive.......
