The Titanium is 6AL-4V grade and the diameter starts at 2 inch and is machined down to make our shift knob.

Bummer. I don't see it anywhere on the Vishnu web page. Would one have to call in order to purchase the Vishnu shift knob? I looked and it is not on the Miata, WRX or Evo page.

Calling seems kind of old fashioned to me.

I think it is ugly. Please Post better looking photos. This would enhance the looks. I cannot give your shift knob a fair assessment yet.

I had a chance to see the prototype piece in person yesterday. It's attractive and has good weight.

Actually, I wanted the knob up higher like the 6-speed level on the STi. When your driving all spastically, it's a shorter, easier and quicker reach from the steering well. With the EVO's stock knob (huh huh... I said "knob"), it always feels like I'm reaching for the floor ever time I want to switch gears.

Improvement?

I don't understand why folks are coming out with heavy imcompressible shifter knobs when the stock knob is light and has some give, explicitly designed to speed shifting without bruising the palm...
