Stage 2 update
Good news shiv! 91 octane and gt turbos are a crappy combo. I find it hard to believe on the dsm comment though. It's the same engine. I'm sure the head flows better than a 2g head but i doubt it flows much better than a 1g head.
A dsm with a big turbo probably has a set of 264/272s along with it. Not ot mention if they had built motors they are running 9:1 compression.
I am also SSOOOOO tired of people bring up Al and ragging on him. This is the vishnu forum so leave Al out of this. For all of you sissies that gripe about the evo not being a drag car, what do you see in everyone's sig bragging? Probably not road course times. The 1320 just take some of the guess work out of comparing different dynos. People mod their cars to go faster and the 1/4 mile is a good measure of power. That's all.

Diffrent type of Dyno, race gas, built engine, nos and that intercooler sprayer thingy do not a fair comparison make.
Someone rename the webiste www.EvolutionAL.net

1/4 Mile Drag Racers
Next up are the 1/4 mile drag racers. These guys are at least smart enough to take their cars to a formal race track where there are rules, safety regulations, and ambulances for when
they crash because they can't figure out how to drive in a straight line. They look down upon the Freeway "Racers" and Street "Racers" as a bunch of immature folks who don't have
enough sense to take their need for speed to their local 1/4 mile drag strip. Instead, these 1/4 mile geeks spend their life trying to break the 12 second barrier in their souped up street
cars. Sometimes they might even get four runs in a day, and at 13 seconds a run, this means they spent the whole day at the track for 52 seconds of "racing" fun. Kinda like spending
$200 on a dinner date, and having premature ejaculation at the dinner table.
Favorite type of woman: Any female that has teeth.
Favorite magazine: Hot Rod, Car Craft, Hemi World.

If I want some 12 second fun, I go out of my driveway and turn left, or if i need something different I turn right. Each direction is a good 1/2 mile. Free for me, and good for tuning =P
Dont have a 1/4 time's though... Everytime I go to the track its for the roadcourse.

How drivable is the car? How soon does boost come on? When can I buy it?

We're wrapping up Stage 2 on our own shop EVO right now. We need a non-customer car we don't have to be so conservative with to see what this kit can really do. Once it's good and finished, we'll offer Stage 2 to the public. At first, it's only going to be available as a turn-key deal. Meaning, that we install the system, tune the car on the dyno and give it back to you all finished with two XEDE maps. Selling it in mail-order form at this point is going to be risky. There is A LOT of extras in the kit and installation will be complicated until we write a comprehensive installation manual (which will take a while).

It's pretty much true, and you must fit in the 1/4 retards and it pissed you off a little.

I fit in the category that thinks people like you are idiotic for passing characterizations off on people solely based on how they prefer to enjoy their car.
I am also in the category that believes whoever sat down and wrote that little gem needs something better to do with their time... like maybe catching ebola and dying
