As for the misfire code, does anyone in the local area (northern CA) get this code? The reason I'm asking is that I have the new firmware update for the idle fix which has been working just fine on my car for the last couple of weeks. I'm beginning to think that the idle blip is the cause for the misfire code that some folks are getting. Especially those in cold climates where even stock EVOs tend to stumble more during warm-up.
Anyone such folks care to volunteer trying out the new firmware update. That is, before I ask everyone to send their XEDEs back for the update? Preferably someone who is experiencing both the idle pops as well as the misfire code, of course.

hey shiv, i've got an appointment with you on jan. 6 to do stage 1+ - happy to try the firmware. i've gotten both the P0300 and the idle pops.
if you're in town before then i can come by sooner.

Any chance of getting the firware upgrade installed when you are here for the East coast tuning day? The addition of the cams and modified cam timing will probably play hell if we have to run on the stock ECM while we send Xedes back to you in CA. My last firmware upgrade took almost 8 weeks due to shortage of available Xedes for outright exchange.
regards,
