I know your thoughts about aftermarket intakes and the fact that you have not seen measurable performance improvements when dyno testing. I am also aware of the challenges you have mentioned when trying to tune the Xede for these intakes.

None of the previously available systems were true CAI products and the increased under hood charge temperatures may have offset any benefits that the higher flow offered.

APS finally released their high-flow CAI for the EVO VIII which appears to be a well designed product that sources the intake charge from within the driver side inner fender like most systems we are familiar with. Wondering what your thoughts are?

Anyone out there have any dyno measurements for this mod?

nice find I would also like to put an intake on my car, if only for the bling-bling factor would be ok, but if it were functional that would be better.

 

Yes it will work with custom tuning of the XEDE.
