New Vishnu Dumpback Install and Product review
Well first off Brett said it would get here on Monday but snuck it to me Friday afternoon for a very pleasant suprise
. The exhaust is bubble wrapped very well and upon unwrapping you know why the exhaust is a very nice mirror finish and looks great! It comes in 5 pieces the DP, cat.Rear O2 pipe IP, and back box. The exhust is made of good gauge pipe and all flanges are ported- very nice touch for Vishnus lowest level exhaust. The DP has a belled bigger to 3" reduction for good flow at the most critical position to evacuate the gases at the wastegate. Hardware is great big
for including all metric instead of the home depot SAE plumbers bolts supplied by nearly all others. I wish
included a hanger on the IP At least the vishnu comes as two piece for easier install. The install is straight forward except some will prolly put the cat on backwards and the O2 pipe wont line up but youll figure it out. The "borg cubes" are actually very nice machined aluminum and provide the proper spacing.
The sound is great pretty loud but a very low octave. Very mean with camms!!
No droning at all. The tip is nice almost the same size as stock but clears the bumper properly so no bumper melting. It is possible if you half *** lining up the flanges that the O2 pipe could hit the heat shields- But properly matched flanges (The way Shiv intended it to perform) it has great clearance.
Gains are what we expect much freer flowing and no start off bog like stock you can literaly just let the clutch out.
At 1050 this is hands down the best qualitly and fit of any exhaust I have seen on the boards! Thanks Shiv

I actually never installed my borg cubes (spacers). Everything seemed to fit so good without them. They might be important when racing, with all the bumps and quick changes of direction. I plan to install them the next time I'm under my car.
Like MP5, I also noticed the benefit of slightly easier stop sign launches. Less clutch and gas needed to just roll off. Also, I noticed more gain the following day, 20 miles later. I assumed the ECU "learned" about the increased flow and didn't have to pull timing (???) as much, or, the exhaust got a little freeer after a couple of good burns.
